Switchback Beer Ale - 6-12 FZ
Beer, Ale, Switchback
Unfiltered. Naturally conditioned. Locally owned. Est'd in 2002. Read about our beer. All Switchback beers are brewed exclusively at our original location in Burlington, Vermont, following the same exacting procedures and standards used since the brewery's founding in 2002. We use only the finest ingredients that can be obtained, and never use additives or processing aids. Our beers are naturally carbonated by our own proprietary yeast stain during conditioning in the aging tanks, following a rare procedure our brewmaster and owner, Bill Cherry, learned while working as Head Brewer at Boulevard Brewing Co. in Kansas City, MO. Since the brewery's inception we have chosen to leave our beers unfiltered, allowing for fullness in mouthfeel and richness in flavor that is exceptional and best represents the way we like to drink beer: fresh from the aging tank. Switchback Ale was developed as a flavor concept, not adhering to any style guidelines. This reddish-amber, hard to describe beer is full of flavor yet always invites one to have another. This unique combination has made Switchback Ale a Vermont favorite. Our beers are unfiltered. We encourage you to mix the yeast back into the beer to experience it as originally bottled.
